Presentations and Meetings
The Canada Research Chair on Policy and Program Evaluation occasionally hosts one-day colloquia, to which practitioners and scholars from the evaluation community are invited. The colloquia focus on specific topics and invite discussions around research findings.
Mini-conference for francophone evaluators
CES-NCC and ENAP invite French-speaking evaluators to a half-day mini-conference, to be held on Friday, April 26th from 8 am to 12 pm at l’École nationale d’administration publique (Outaouais campus). This mini-conference will enable participants to gain new competencies and receive advice on their career paths in evaluation.
This half-day session will begin with a few words of welcome, followed by two plenary sessions: the first will feature emerging evaluators, who will share their individual paths, and the second will feature evaluation employers in the public and private sector, who will share their advice regarding evaluation career development.
After the plenary sessions, participants will be invited to attend one of three skill-building workshops on (1) Implementing the Policy on Results, by Martine Perrault, (2) Advanced Quantitative Methods, by Benoît Gauthier, and (3) Inclusion and Diversity in Evaluation, by François Dumaine.
This activity, which will be held entirely in French, is free for CES-NCC members. Non-members who wish to register may do so at a cost of $50. A few places have also been reserved for students who wish to attend free of charge (on a first come, first served basis). Registration is mandatory in all cases by emailing: email@example.com. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions at the time of registration.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
